Alváz / 2. ¤ Pan / 2.

Az utolsó pillanatban döntöttem úgy, hogy feldobom az alvázat az alagút színre fújásával, hátha csempész egy kis verseny hangulatot az utastérbe. Ha mégsem jön be, akkor a kárpit majd ápol és eltakar. A szín a neonfény miatt csalóka. Élőben tetszik, piros mellett narancsos, narancs mellett piros.

 

Regarding the pan I changed my mind in the last minute and decided to paint the tunnel red in order match the body. Hopefully it will add some racy touch to the interior. If plan doesn't work carpet will solve that. Looks much more orange on the picture than in real life.

 

 

Szín ¤ Choosing colour

Eljött az idő, döntenem kellett a színről. A komplett felújítással esélyem nyílt értéket teremteni, ezért csak a gyári, évjárat azonos árnyalatokat nézegettem.

 

Now it was time to choose the right colour. I wanted some period correct paintjob, the list below shows the options what I was able to choose from:

+ a különkiadások, mint a Marathon Metallic (L96M) Baja Champion SE, a Saturn Yellow (L13M) 20th million edition Cabrio és Jubilee, vagy a csak Európában árult Saturn Yellow (L13M), Blood Orange (L21E) vagy Willow Green (L63K) "May Beetle".

 

Nyári autónak készül, ezért a sötét színeket ejtettem, csakúgy, mint a narancsot, citromot, zöldet. A gyári krómok jó, ha elütnek a fényezéstől, fehér és bézs kiesett. Maradt a Türkiz metál, a Marathonblau metál, a Kasan piros és a gyári Marinablau kék. Ha már 1302, akkor legyen old school, vesszen a metál! Döntőben a piros és a kék.

As a summer car I abandoned all the dark colours and did the same with orange, yellow and green. I was looking for something that the chrome parts are going to pop out from, so nor white neither beige was an option. Remained Turquiose and Marathonblau metallic, Kasan red and Marina Blue. Due to my principle an 1302 has to be built in old school, no match with metallic colours than. Red VS Blue this is the question.

 

 

A kékben vonzó, hogy a konkrét példánynak ez az eredeti színe, elég ritka a germanlookerek között, viszont nehéz hozzá nem tök fekete belsőt csinálni. A piros vagányabb, jobban elütnek róla a krómok, több variációt nyújt a belsőre és a szóban forgó Kasan rot (L30B) mindössze egy évig szerepelt a palettán. Két évig gyártott modell, egy évig elérhető színben...legyen!

Marinablue was the original colour of this particular car, it is quite rare in the GL community but hard to have any other interior than black. The red is sporty, chrome pops out more and leave you more options on the interior. The Kasan Red (L30B) was on the list just for one single year so decision was made: a car produced for just 2 years in a 1 year only color sounds good enough to me.
